I was running a fever all day and I still feel like shit. But I’m been worried about homework all day – why? Because the last time this happened, my calc teacher was all like “you need to find out what we did on the day you were absent and have it ready to turn in when you get back.”

I can just imagine a conversation,

Teacher: You need to find out what we did on the day you were absent and have it ready to turn in when you get back.

Imaginary Me: Yeah, well, I was in bed feeling crap all day running a 101 degree fever for half of it so I could feel less like crap to come to school today.

Yeah, well – it sounded slicker in my head.
