Apparently, channel 38 suddenly dropped out of broadcasting frequency and my mother was shocked at being unable to continue the current Asian drama being broadcast. She ventured online to Tudou (the Chinese YouTube).

Mom: I can’t get this to work; it keeps stopping.

Me: That’s because you have to wait for it to buffer. See that faint line down there? Leave it alone for a while until its full.

Mom: No, that’s not it. It doesn’t move unless I click play.

The coversation was actually longer, louder, and less polite, but I decided to drop the argument before it turned into a real one. /headesk.
