Lately I’ve…
- Misplaced my iPod earbuds, so I haven’t been able to take them outside the house. Either the pit that is my room and the study is deeper and more endless than I thought, or I lent it to someone at school and they never returned it.
- The new 35mm f/1.8 Nikkor lens I ordered still hasn’t arrived yet. In fact, it’s so backordered on Amazon that they haven’t even charged the credit card since they don’t have any in stock. It’s been months.
- Purchased a ticket to China for mid-July to mid-August !
- On soompi.com forums too much a lot.
- Been obsessing/experimenting with makeup again. I’m waiting for my BB cream order to arrive, but in the meantime I’ve tried very hard to resist spending about $100 on crap for my face. I’m always in a rush in the mornings because I hit the snooze button 3 times until I have 20min. from wakeup to rush out the house to school, which really isn’t the best idea when I want to get everything on.
- Been watching How I Met Your Mother. Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) love. Unfortunately, I’ve realized how unoriginal Duy is now. Nevertheless, I get all the jokes now. And I have to admit, said friend still remains hilarious, if not more so.
I’ve been avoiding school a lot lately. AP testing didn’t really count in my mind this year, and it’s said because I was so bored that I purposely skipped an entire essay on the English Lit (what was I thinking). I was all done in week 1, so basically, I didn’t go to school very much and when I did it was mostly movie-watching.
Unfortunately, the final projects have rained down now, and I should be swamped until school ends. F.
PS. You know, during my high school career, what between APs, SATs, and various score report sending, I think I’ve paid at least $1000 to collegebord. Wow.
I’ve only watched a few episodes of HIMYM (hoping to change that now that APs are over!), but have a bunch of friends that love it. Yes, Barney rules.
I took EngLit last year and one of the essays was on such an annoying story excerpt that I felt like torching it. But I was unrebellious and actually did it.
You think you’ve paid a lot to the College Board… with the additional int’l fees we’ve got to add here, let’s just put it this way: it sucks.

Hm, I ordered a book off of Amazon recently and my book STILL haven’t arrived yet. The seller lives in Arizona and assured me it shouldn’t take too long. Liar. But wow, months?! That’s pretty long. :\
Seems like someone’s going to have a great summer!
I wish I can go somewhere in the summer. I would love to go to Cambodia again.
And yeah, the CAHSEE was pretty easy, basic middle school stuff. The only thing that made it a teeny bit difficult on the math part was because I forgot some of the stuff. But other than that, it wasn’t too hard. Everyone I know pretty much passed with flying colors.
