The other day I was craving a healthy salad at the same time that I just wanted something warm for dinner: enter stir fry beef and veggies over lettuce! The recipe is relatively simple. I adopted eastern philosophy for this recipe and eyeballed it. You can too, and I promise you it won’t turn out bad as long as you don’t upend entire spice jars into your dish.
Ingredients
Marinade
- Soy Sauce
- Olive Oil
- Ground Black Pepper
- Cayenne Pepper Powder
Stir-Fry
- Broccoli
- 1 Sweet Ariel Pepper
- Sesame Seeds
- Cooking Wine
- Salt
- Water
Salad
- Wash & Cut Romaine Lettuce
- Italian Dressing
Directions
Marinate Beef in soy sauce, olive oil, and peppers. Heat oil in skillet. Lightly brown marinated beef in skillet; set aside. Lightly salt broccoli and sweet peppers and throw in pot with a 1 teaspoon of water and cooking wine in clean skillet; cover and allow to steam until broccoli is a bright green. Dust with sesame seeds and add back beef. Stir-fry until ready.
In a separate bowl, layer on a think layer of lettuce and top with italian dressing. Pour stir-fry on top. Enjoy a hot salad!
