Saturday /1am
Tuesday was San Francisco day, when I met up with a couple of old friends I hadn’t seen in forever. We drove to SF (bad decision) and dropped by the Academy of Science. I was disappointed that they didn’t have any really really gimongous creatures. It was different, though, since usually all I do in the few times a year I actually go to SF is to shop.
However, however, this trip is very apt because the next time I blog, I get to fill in the ellipses with New York City. I’m half packed and so excited. (Yeah, this is a scheduled post, so by the time you’re reading this, I’ll be in NY already.)

Pretty Fishies

Scott, temporarily blinded by the light.

Jellyfish!

An albino alligator. It looked sad, and never moved.

Group photo up on living roof! Dunno why I had to wear that belt; it's ick. I blame it on being rushed out the door and not having a chance to peek in the mirror (longer).

All lines, all the time. That could sum up the Academy of Sciences to a T.

Jessica & I next to big shiny rock thing at the de Young Museum of Modern art. I don't understand modern art, and I can't aim the camera correctly.

Delicious Thai food place, where we had huge plates of Pad Thai. Yum. 'Was too busy eating to take pictures of actual food.
Does anyone notice the fact that H&M mannequins are eerily realistic? We kept thinking this one blond-and-sun-hatted one was an actual person. You know, it’s kinda funny, since some of them even have have nipples, I’m serious! (No, the ones above are superfake! and from Forever 21.)

Hugemongous sunhats in H&M. I want one, actually...too bad I was broke by then. Apologies for blurriness - Jessica's Sony cybershot is crap. Lovely, gorgeous pink! touchscreen crap.
These sunhats remind me of the one that Hana wears in 200 Pound Beauty. Too bad Kim Ah-joong is like drop dead gorgeous.
It is noteworthy to note that the wind was so strong today that a truck overturned on the San Mateo bridge (the one no one hears about) and a boat crashed into one of the supports and got stuck.
We, on the other hand, were on the Bay Bridge – that earthquake inept one that’s always in the news and that’s to get a 5-year “temporary section” on Labor Day before the new bridge opens after I graduate from college or something.
