Especially when these dresses run hundreds of dollars and I calculate that the fabric stubs at Walmart AND a mini sewing machine wouldn't add up to even half that. But alas, time seems to run out even faster than money. Haha, we're supposed to go back too, since a few friends were on vacation and the time. We'll see how everything pans out. ;) Maybe we'll see you there! I know, right? Whenever I see those sorts of dresses, I always say to myself, "Shannon, you've got to learn how to make clothes." And then I go home and look up patterns but end up just reading news articles or histories of chairs or something. I actually went to Santa Cruz about a month ago too. And according to some of my friends, we are going back. Not sure when or if it'll happen though. So in summary. That thar is a hella cool dress.
